Stacy Nethery was born in Bloomington, Indiana, and currently resides in Morristown, New Jersey. Stacy specializes in fine art photography focused on issues regarding feminism, the LGBTQIA+ community, and mental health awareness. She primarily works with digital photography, and enjoys digital manipulation of her photos, as well as analog photography and alternative processes such as cyanotype and pinhole photography.

 

In addition to fine art photography, Stacy enjoys capturing beautiful spaces in landscape photography as well as portrait and concert photography. She has recently earned an associate of applied science in Photography Technology at County College of Morris (CCM), in Randolph, NJ, and is currently working toward a bachelor of fine arts in Fine Art Photography at Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, NY. Stacy has been featured in various shows, including the County College of Morris Photo Fall 2022 Metaverse Gallery, Belmar Arts Council’s Hip to Be Square Exhibition (2022), CCM’s 2023 Photography and Design Portfolio Exhibition, and CCM’s Best-of-the-Best Student Exhibition (2023). She was also chosen as the full-time recipient for the Jim Del Giudice Memorial Scholarship for photography students for the 2022-2023 school year. At CCM, Stacy also stepped up as a leader by working as the Photography Club’s president, a student aide for the photography lab, and a student mentor to first-year students.
